Terms & Conditions – SOBS Application

By submitting your short film, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. 1No Hate Speech or Unnecessary Provocation
   • Your film must not contain content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or unnecessary provocation.
   • Any content that targets or harms a particular community, individual, political party, or religion will be rejected from screening.
2. Visual & Sound Clarity - While we do not expect high-budget production quality, your film must have clear visuals and audible sound suitable for theatrical screening.
3. Maximum Duration: 20 Minutes - Films exceeding 20 minutes (including credits) will not be considered.
4. Ownership & Screening Rights
   • The submitter must own the content and is solely responsible for any claims, copyright issues, or legal disputes that may arise in the future.
   • SOBS' only role is to organize the screening, and it holds no liability beyond that.
5. Subtitles (If Required) - If your film is in a language other than English, English subtitles are highly recommended for better audience understanding.
6. No Pornographic or Illegal Content - Films containing explicit adult content, illegal activities, or any content that violates laws will be immediately rejected from screening.
7. Promotion & Publicity - If selected, you grant SOBS & VTSFF the right to use clips, posters, or stills from your film for promotional and marketing purposes.
8. Screening Fee & Refund Policy
   • Submission does not guarantee screening. If your film is not approved, your screening fee will be refunded.
   • SOBS only organizes the screening of your short film and does not intend any monetary gain from it.
